So it’s 11/30/16 in the United States of America. The place where most of us feel the biggest disaster of our lives has just taken place. Yes, I am speaking of our new President-Elect Donald Trump. Most of us are just like “WTF”!? and then there is another group of escaped Klan members celebrating cross country. This is our America. Like it our not. It’s allll ours. A large group of people feel QUITE hopeless. But I am here to tell you, there’s something else. The “after world”. It’s a real place. Prince told us about it first and by the looks of it. He just happened to make it there this year. Such is life.
So last night, I was at a “Red Clay Democrats” meeting. Picture it if you will, we met a bar called Church to talk about how we fix this debacle called our future. It was a beautiful moment in time. And as if I was living in my VERY OWN MOVIE, my night was topped off with this jewel that I forgot about.
Which was a crazy moment in itself if you had been there for the conversations I indulged in. The truth is, some how, some way… real progress was MADE last night! I had one of those “Jesus Moments” in “Church”. We will be OKAY. We WILL GET THROUGH THIS!
