So you know how they say “You should Live the Dream”! I’m living the dream, and let me tell you. It’s something beautiful! I am a witness to the power of music and what it can do for you. I am a witness to the debilitating powers music can have on ones soul and future. For the last 30 or 4o years, we have listened to hip hop and all its forms. It has built empires from nothing. It has killed “villages” and “cities” right in front of itself. And yet, it continues to grow. Is there power in music? You bet your “bottom dollar” it is. There is a power in your “spirit”. It lives within you. Believe it or not, music has the power to turn your “Spirit” on. This isn’t something I have “heard”. This is something I have experienced for MYSELF. You can “feel God” in the music. If you open your mind and “ask”the spirit to “come within you”. Think about it, have you truly ever “asked” to “feel the spirit”? Have you ever “spoken” to a higher power? It LIVES in the “Music”. Let’s “test it out” right now. Have you ever heard this jam?
They tell you EXACTLY what do to… to “Feel The Spirit”. You have to “let yourself go” and “get into it”. Be “free” with the beat. Life is nothing more than a “feeling”, an “experience”, that we are all having “Together”. We can fight each other or we can love on each other. The day is going to go by regardless. The “Day” is LIFE. And in this life, you can experience “feelings” that CHANGE your life. Today is 11-3-16, the day after The Chicago Cubs won the World Series after a 108 year drought. 108 years Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is 108 years old. A lot can happen in 108 years! I bet you they played a lot of music around these events. Music “Stirs the Soul”.
Music also holds the power of whatever you “believe”. Everything in life is about your “Belief”. But I bet the right “song” can make you “change” your belief. It works in all the movies.
Music IS LIFE for me. I don’t play it. BUT I LIVE AND BREATHE IT! Life without music, wouldn’t even really be important to me. It would be sad. With that said, one of my desires is to “spread” the power of music. To become a “go to source” for hot tracks.
